Uke hOOt is Edinburgh’s weekly ukulele jam. We meet every Wednesday evening to play through songbooks together — pop, folk, traditional, whatever’s in the book. Beginners welcome, advanced players welcome, no audition. Bring a uke or borrow one.

This site is the archive of the jam. Photos and notes go up after most sessions, so if you missed a week you can see what you missed (and pick up the song list for next time).

The blog ran on Tumblr from 2014 onwards at ukehoot.tumblr.com and was migrated here in 2026. Old Tumblr post URLs redirect to their archived counterparts on this site.
