Songbook Coming Soon

The Second Edition of our Bumper Uke hOOt songbook is almost ready - the link below should take you to the cover and list of (proposed) contents. I’m hoping that the songbook will be ready in two formats: each song as single PDF file and a big PDF file for all the songs. For lovers of print, the suggestion is that you keep it in loose leaf form, so that new songs, or improved versions, can be added as we see fit from time to time. For lovers of new-fangled tablety thingies, you can upload the big PDF document to your new fangled thingie and then strum away.

Other Uke hOOT news: we will be meeting in the garden of The Pear Tree, West Nicolson Street, Edinburgh, during the Festival, starting on Wednesday (6 August) at 7.30 pm. Back to The Kilderkin at the end of the Fest. Also: Saturday 9 August is a big night for us. We’re back at The Captain’s Bar for a night of general ukulele frivolities, from 9pm until they chuck us out (which may be very late). The Captain’s is in South College Street (not too far from the Pear Tree, as it happens).
